avid export problems

hi!

I've got a problem which keeps me busy for a while by now, and thus my "research-work" in various forums wasn't really successfull, i hope i could find some answers here.
After I've captured the footage and edited the sequence without problems, i wanted to export the sequence. The problem is, that the exported movie is "messed up" with some green raster. the same problem also occurs when i try to export via digital cut. This problem doesn't only exist for exported clips, but also for the monitor when i render an effect in avid (there is no problem for unrendered realtime-effects).
To picture my problem, i've added an screenshot from my workspace.

I'm afraid that it's maybe a hardware problem, but i'm not quite sure (i'm using a amd 2400Mhz sempron, ati 7400 radeon, 1024 ram)
I'm working with avid xpress pro.
I would be very glad, if someone could help me!! thanks in advance.

Never seen this before.
At first try different settings for rendering. Under Settings choose Render and try: Quality Set in Each Effect or Standard Quality or Highest Quality. After each setting erease old renderings under Media Tool. For this make new project with some capturing in it and apply some non-realtime effect. If green raster stays, delete your rendering : Tools - Media Tool - All Drives - Current Project and tick only Precompute Clips and delete those what you see. Then try another quality setting and render again.
I guess that this is not hardware problem but something with Quicktime installation.
If you render (not realtime) then Avid makes automatically new .omf files for that and plays these instead "original" .omf. This is why I suspect corrupted Quicktime.

If problem stays then try to install older QuickTime (6.4 for example) or newer 7.1. Non-pro versions are free.
Hope you understood..

Playing back and creating media within the application has nothing to do with QuickTime... Have you tried a reinstall? Make sure your render setting are set to the same format as your sources. You might want to see if there is a update to the version series you are in. Seeing as the name HD in it would indicate 5.0/5.1 era. And if I recollect, there were some issues when using DV native codecs for certain operations.
