how do i get my edited projects to a dvd i can play on my tv.i have the xpress pro 4.5 and mojo. i exported the timeline to quick time and squezeed in sorenson, but it wont play on my dvd player.

I use DVD architect. I can't waiste time exporting huge quicktimes so I just lay it off to mini DV and capture that via firewire on another computer.
Cheap and easy for anything needing authoring.
Anything that does'nt, I just use a DVD recorder directly out of the Avid. Great for one-offs.

You need to encode to a MPEG2 file with elementary streams, and then author those assets in an authoring program. Depeneding on client, I will author or not. As Grinner says, 90% of my stuff is DV via FireWire to my Philips DVD recorder. Done.
