Hello and thanks for the offer. I am trying to edit a project on an Avid DS 10.5.

Much of the footage was shot at 720 24pn on an HVX200 and an HVX370. Because I'm trying to use a consumer panel as a client monitor, I'm restricted to monitoring in 1080i 59.94 and other frame rates other than 24p.

The problem is, I can't figure out how to convert the native 24pn footage to 1080i video that looks good. I'm getting a lot of jitter during pans. I'm using Media Composer to transcode the video before exporting clips to .aaf for use with the DS. This is the only P2 workflow Avid DS supports at this time.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also, if you know of a consumer flat panel that will display 23.976 frame rates, I'd love to know. I just tried a Panasonic 600hz plasma with no luck. I'm converting the DS's HDSDI to HDMI with an AJA converter.

Sorry for the detail, but I'm stuck and really need a solution before this edit begins shortly.
