avid dongle

I borrowed Avid xpress pro HD 5.0 from a friend. Installed it on my computer. But when I try to run the program, a message pops up that says I need to make sure the dongle is attached.

Is there any way around this? If not, where can I get a dongle?
 
the dongle is a like a hardware serial number. you can easily get a dongle by PAYING FOR THE SOFTWARE.
 
The dongle is likely still in the USB port of your friend's computer... it is a physical piece of hardward and you have to borrow it in addition to the software.
