Greetings All!

I have a dongle for Avid XPress Pro 5.6 (later upgraded to 5.7) I purchased new several years ago. This is the full, (ie NOT academic) version, and qualifies for an upgrade to Avid Media Composer 7 for only $399. I also have the original discs and manuals (though they are not necessary to receive the upgrade). I have been hanging on to this all along with the thought to one day upgrade, but we have since made the move over to Adobe, so alas it's time to let someone else scoop this offer. The details on the Avid upgrade offer is here on the Avid site:

I have bought and sold thousands of dollars of gear here on DVXUser, and I'm also willing to help with whatever maybe necessary with upgrading and/or transferring the license (if necessary). I am not offering to pay the license transfer fee ($100, I think), but I will give the buyer my Avid logins and account information with the purchase of the Dongle.

Asking $199 or best offer.

Yes, this license will work on either a Mac or a Windows system. The original packaging says "Macintosh - Windows". As I recall, the original discs were for windows, but you can still download the Mac version from the Avid site.

Additional info: After speaking with an Avid rep, it is also possible after you purchase the upgrade from the Avid website, to then transfer your software only license onto this dongle. The dongle will then work on either a Mac or Windows system, and will allow you to have multiple installs on different computers, which can be run by simple plugging in the dongle, as opposed to activating/deactivating every time.
