Greetings All!

I have a dongle for Avid XPress Pro 5.6 (later upgraded to 5.7) I purchased new several years ago. This is the full, (ie NOT academic) version, and qualifies for an upgrade to Avid Symphony for only $999. This is a limited time offer from Avid which expires on June 15, 2012. The regular upgrade price to Avid Symphony is $3,499. I also have the original discs and manuals (though they are not necessary to receive the upgrade). I have been hanging on to this all along with the thought to one day upgrade, but we have since made the move over to Adobe, so alas it's time to let someone else scoop this offer. Not really sure what price to offer at, but let's say $475 or best offer, which will get you a full version of Symphony for about $1,000 less than Media Composer 6, and about 1/3 or less the cost of Symphony.

I have bought and sold thousands of dollars of gear here on DVXUser, and I'm also willing to help with whatever maybe necessary with upgrading and/or transferring the license (if necessary).

Today, June 15th, is the last day to take advantage of the upgrade to Avid Symphony for just $999! This is a full upgrade, not an educational license, and it is an upgrade to Symphony!

I am dropping the price to $300 or best offer, in fact, any reasonable offer! I have dealt with Avid for a long time, and they may not make an offer like this again anytime soon, if ever.

It's really a shame for someone not to take advantage of this, so if you've been thinking about getting a new Avid system, today is the day! I would upgrade myself, but our shop just made a new commitment to Adobe, so a new Avid system is just not in the cards right now. For a forum member with a good track record I will be willing to give you my Avid logins, System ID, and Serial # even before you send payment so you can be sure of getting the upgrade price from Avid. I am a longtime forum member and have bought and sold thousands of dollars of gear here on the forum.

Is the dongle register in your name? who is going to be responsible for the license transfer fee from Adobe?
