i'm currently working on some footage at school. i have footage i captures from my dvx100b captured at 24p into a avid adrenaline system. however i neglected to see that someone had changed my timeline project settings on the internal hard drive, and all my footage captured to a 24p timeline when it should have been on a 29.97 timeline. i finally noticed the "jittering" halfway through my edit when there was more motion involved, and i did so much work already i really need to find another way around converting this captured footage or my finished cut back to it's normal settings. does anybody have any advice?

What you are describing doesn't make any sense. You shouldn't have been able to capture DVX footage at 24p. Unless you meant you captured at 23.97. Which is not the same.

If you're talking about capturing at 23.97, instead of 30i, you will have to re-capture, and start from scratch. There is no way around it. The only possible solution would be to export what you have to maybe a quicktime reference, and re-import it into a 30i project. But you run the risk of exporting the jitter as well, and you will still need to re-capture to continue with your edit. I would try it though. Exporting the Reference file should only take a couple of seconds, so it's worth a shot.

well i guess that really is the worse case scenerio i've been trying to avoid. and yes i incidently captured in at 23.97 project when it was 30i footage. i'll try the quicktime referance and hope for the best. thanks!
