Hallo
I'm editing on avid (media composer) for tow years now and lately I've connected another computer and created a network.
I wonted to know if I can work on avid as a net work?
How do I do that?
I wand to be able to work on a project from booth computers
Is it possible?
Many thanks

No, you need Avid Unity if you want to do that. BIG $$
Your best bet is to keep your media on external drives and reconnect them to the other system along w/your dongle and another install of MC.

Avid Unity is expensive, but it works great. I work on a show with 16 avids all networked, and the Unity system works flawlessly.

the baby unity, while almost affordable has many issues, mostly with bandwidth (or lack of)
It'll limit ya to dv25 and when media is accesses my multiple stations at one time, it'll skip.
The badboy is a badboy indeed but is still too expensive for most post houses to entertain. I know of no problems with it whatsoever.
