Avid and M-Audio

I have a M-Audio Audiophile 192 card and Avid doesnt want to see it but will not give any errors on not seeing any sound cards. I also have a Santa Cruz sound card installed and when I switch to that it sees it just fine. I thought M-Audio and Avid were like playmates? I upgraded to the latest drivers and it still is not seen. Is this card not recognizable in Avid?

I was able to get the card to work but now it wont play the video. It seems to be stuck on whatever frame im on when I hit play but plays fine when I switch over to the Santa cruz card. Weird.

I went to the Nvidia site and got the Avid approved drivers and all work fine now.
