Avg. Total Data Rate vs Avg. Video Data Rate?

In Sony Movie studio I get this reported:

Can someone explain the difference between these two different project media items - Avg. Total Data Rate vs Avg. Video Data Rate??

I know the Avg. total Data Rate times 8 gives me the stated MP of my cameras codec but on two different cameras (d7000 v D7100) report Avg. video Data Rate for 1080P 24fps for one at 3.75 and the other 9.375.

I would think the difference between those two should be the audio.
No idea why the D7000 and D7100 clips vary so much. Maybe one is a deep focus shot with lots of small detail, and the other one an out-of-focus shot with almost nothing to store.

The audio data rates are reported as exactly the same. With the NikonHacker most current firmware update, the D7000 @ 36 mps reports an average data rate of 4 while the 7100 reports 2.9 but both report the 9.35 video data rate. Strange. Same subject.
