Average weight of rig?

I'm looking for a tripod that will support:

DVX100b
Rails
Letus Economy
Follow Focus
Monitor
Matte Box

I don't want to buy one until I know how much it needs to be able to support.

Does anyone have a rough estimate of what their rig weighs?

Would the bogen manfrotto 503 head and 3246 legs hold?

I think I'm gonna get the 516 head and 3246 legs with the 3502 leveling head. It should hold 22lbs.

Anybody have any suggestions?

I've bought a Libec LS382a, has floor spreader, it weighs in at nearly 6kg, nice solid H/duty head and under $1000 bucks. I think its way better than my friends 501 head and legs. This thing you can really notice the difference in stability compared to the Manfrotto, anyway it should be, its far heavier.

503 doesn't have the counterbalance to really support it. the 503hdv is a little better and has adjustable spring. 516 would be better than that with a beefier spring but not adjustable. if you want a real head go for the cartoni focus f100. true fluid and an adjustable spring. holds up to 22 pounds. my rig weighs in at 20 pounds with the hvx, redrock, ff, mattebox, and monitor. the focus will hold it still at any tilt angle even with the fluid drag all the way down and unlocked.

when i still had my dvx and no monitor my rig was about the same weight as what you will have with the letus and so forth. my 503 got the job done but barely and would never hold an angle without being locked off.

Thanks a lot guys, that's a huge help.

Shaun, I hear a lot of good things about the LS382a, I'll look into it some more.

Cheezweezl, are you saying that the 516 wouldn't be adjustable because of too much weight? Also, what legs would you recommend with the focus f100?

Thanks again guys!
