Average data rate ?

576i/25P DVCPRO50 to P2 card

What should the average data rate be? ie file property

I have some files that properties state - 6mb per second.

Seems very low!

These pix appear low res and have edge issues.

50 MegaBits per second (thats why it is named DVCPro50). This equals 6.25 MegaBytes... so everything should be fine...

Thanx....I am sure you are right a but I dont quite understand your math ... "50 megabits=6.25 megabytes"

8 bit = 1 byte
50 Megabit / 8 = 6.25 MegaByte
