I have the GH3 now and what I would like to know is whats the best way to view 1080 50p,up till now I have been burning dvd disc in AVCHD 720 50p then placing in my Panasonic blue ray hard drive player and copying to the hard drive,i take it I cant burn 1080 50p AVCHD onto dvd?? or do I have to get a media player and play the file from there? any suggestions would be appreciated
 
Just plug your cam into the TV HDMI or transfer the camera files to a flash drive and plug it in the side (as long as you have a USB port). Or are you talking about an edited program ??
 
yes sorry I meant after editing it in avid studio,theres a setting to output 1920 1080 50p 24000 mbps

I use a WDTV player to view my files. Exporting as either H264 or MOV files then either streaming them across my network or chucking them on a USB drive.
I also have a panasonic blu-ray player than plays the MT2S files natively straight off my card. (your Panasonic blu-ray probably has a USB input on the front - stick your card in a USB reader and give it a try).
 
thanks for the replys,another question if I may,would there be any difference in quality between the AVCHD and MP4 both are (28 mbps I think) setting when recording 1080 50p
