Avatar - James Cameron Returns! (Spoilers in thread, obviously!)

When I watched the trailers online, I felt that they looked cartoonish, but I've since seen the trailer in theaters, and I think it looks pretty damn good. Same for Alice in Wonderland actually, so maybe these things pick-up some realism when they're projected on the silver screen.
Only odd thing, tonight I saw the trailer in theaters in 3D for the first time, and I'm still trying to decide if I like it better. I have an open mind, but it's strange...

You needed Avatar to convince you of this?
And this one's not blue, but red is nice too.
And if you're into the bald blue look...

they are doing a Avatar/Cameron special on 60 minutes tonite at 7pm EST.
I find Immortal very interesting, despite its flaws. Some major-tasty art direction, in that movie.

Long clip of an action chase in the movie. Looks like the greatest video game cut scene ever rendered. The music at 1:09 sounds uncomfortably close to Horner's often self-plagarized Wolfen, Trek II, Aliens riff--

Awesome
Rt has it at 100% thus far
I'm totally digging this. Cameron is a god.
He makes popcorn, but his popcorn has ball juice all over it. He has a real vision with his filmmaking. Makes you wonder why more Engineer types aren't filmmakers. I think he may be a true genius.

In 3D?
I am printing this out and taking it to the cast & crew screening/party in the hope of showing it to Jim. He'll dig it.
