I am a University Student enrolled at San Francisco State University's Cinema Department and I have a diverse span of education and experience in many areas of Film/Video Production. I am a very proactive, diligent, creative, and a fun crew person with a strong passion for Cinema. I have a professional decorum and a pleasant and eager personality. I am a quick learner and always hungry to gain more experience and help out. · The Super Dupers – a color, digital short film written by Saundra Mitchell and directed by Marc Costanzo (June-September ’06). This was shown at the 2006 LA International Short Film Festival as a special feature during the award ceremony.
· Just The Girl – a color, digit music video that I wrote and directed (November ’05). This video won “Best Music Video” at Pinewood High School’s 2006 Oscar Night.
· Duality of Life – a color, digital New Works video that I wrote and directed (March ’06). This video was shown at Pinewood High School’s 2006 Oscar Night as an honorable mention.

Work Experience
· Nike and Converse Spec Ad – For these two 35 mm commercials I was Best Boy Electric/Grip (November ’06).
· Feature Film “Denmark” with the Production company Orange Universe Films, directed by Roman Scott.

· Internship at San Francisco Film Society for the 50th Annual San Francisco International Film Festival.
As a Programming Intern, I work from the filing and organizing of submission stage all the way to the award ceremony of this amazing and diverse event. (November ‘06-April ’07)
· Samsung’s Fresh Films Team San Francisco 2006
I applied and was accepted as a member of The 2006 San Francisco Fresh Films team out of thousands of applicants’ nation-wide. Fresh Films is a national teen filmmaking program and competition sponsored by several Fortune 500 companies such as Samsung, Apple, and Stayfree. I rotated through working as the assistant director, producer, camera operator, editor, audio mixer, and director of photography. Not only did I gain valuable experience and learn a great deal from professional filmmakers by making the short film “The Super Dupers” but we competed against 9 other teams from major city teams in the United States and won the entire competition, receiving a premiere event in Los Angeles, a MacBook Pro, and Final Cut Studios (June-September ’06).

· Private Film Festival 101 Workshop with Christian Gaines, the Director of Festivals at the American Film Institute (AFI) and has worked with the Hawaii International Film Festival and the Sundance Film Festival.
o Mr. Gaines conducted this workshop selectively for the Fresh Films winners and he taught me about the mechanics, the procedures, and the people in all of the prestigious film festivals. He also shared with me real world experiences from his 20 years of being in the industry (September ’06).
· Private Post Production Workshop at Digital Jungle, Hollywood, CA
o I had a very long conversation with Kassi Crews, Vice President of the high-end full service technical facility Digital Jungle, which was followed by a detailed and meticulous tour/workshop in each aspect of Post Production, courtesy of winning Fresh Films. This workshops went deep into each of the many jobs of advanced video production including script supervising, grip, production coordinating, camera operating, production managing, technically directing, and operating and understand video and audio editing, filtering, and processing (September ’06).
· Private Special Effects Makeup Workshop at Cinema Make-up School.
o I participated in a rigorous workshop, courtesy of Fresh Films, that covered all the real-world and critical aspects involved in being a professional Makeup Artist in Media. This workshop and demonstration was given by Ralis Kahn, makeup artist on films such as Resident Evil and Buffy the Vampire Slayer as well as works for many famous music artists such as Marilyn Manson (September ’06).
· Private Interview and Discussion with Elizabeth Allen
o I had the opportunity to have a long interview and discussion with Director Elizabeth Allen, director of the feature film Aquamarine and Eyeball Eddie, about her journey to becoming a director and how to go about obtaining such a position, courtesy of Fresh Films. She shared with me the knowledge of what it takes to be a thriving director and producer (September ’06).
· My education comes from my work/production experience, formal classes, and independent textbooks.
