GH5 Automatic exposure control recording video

Hello, I wonder if the GH5 can automatically adjust the exposure when recording a 180 deg panorama featuring bright sunny areas and darker forested areas. Thank you for hints on camera settings.
 
Auto exposure won't get the results you're looking for, as it will visibly adjust periodically rather than one seamless transition.

Better to control your exposure and use the widest dynamic range profile possible. (HLG or V-LOG L if 10-bit, V-LOG L or Cine-D if 8-bit)

I use a vari nd for exactly this situation. Having one with a lever on it will help to keep fingers out of the way. The vari nd allows me to maintain my preferred aperture and shutter speed.
