automatic dissolves?

hey,
i'm making a slideshow of pictures in avid, and is there any way you can import alot of pictures into the timeline from your bin and have avid automatically put a transition that you've set beforehand between them all?

yeah, select all your transitions I/O then drop your premade effect on the first one. The system will ask you if you want to apply in to out, say yes your done

awesome thanks. now why wont it let me add a quick transition? ill just show the quick transition box rather than try to explain whats happening..

why wont it let me extend the transition at all.. and why are there no extra frames on my image files?

you dont have enough heads or tails on your video.... you need extra video before and after the transition for the dissolve or transition.
