HVX200/ While shooting a street interview the other evening, I noticed the subject was slightly out of focus. I was in autofocus mode, all had worked fine up w/ camera focusing in past, to this point.
There were two people in frame, person slightly further (1ft) from lens was in focus, subject(speaking) was not. I zoomed in to the one person speaking, it still would not focus, zoom out, same as before. Everything beyond subject in focus.
Yesterday, in a studio setting, same issue. Guitars on wall (20ft) behind subject in focus, subject not. I ended up manually focusing mostly during this interview. When I zoomed in on subject, got the same result as the other night with autofocus, no focus on subject.
I was 10ft from subject in this case, 5ft in previous scenario.
Any ideas??
