So, two things:
1. Do you have the wheel in AFC mode?
2. Do you have the Continuous AF set to YES in the REC menu?
Also, I've noticed that autofocus is a lot slower in 4K than 1080.
Tried with Olympus 17mm 2.8 and Panasonic 14mm. Same result with both. Problem is more than just lenses not working - camera will not switch away from MF mode.Just out of curiosity, what lens were you using ?
That doesn't sound like my experience. I don't use either of those two lenses, but my 14-140 (original version) and 14-42 autofocus, I'm pretty sure, in 24.00 mode. I'll have to check again.
Something else is going on with your camera. Either a setting (most likely) or a lens specific problem (less likely I think) or a camera malfunction. AF is definitely available to me on both my 14-140 and 20mm in 24.00hz mode. Here's a pic.It will autofocus in 23.97, as long as the camera frequency is not set to Cinema 24P. Once I did that, AF went away.
Thanks. Will contact Panasonic about this. Very odd.
