I was outside today and my zoom went on all buy itself 3 times. And it zoomed all the way in from were ever I had it at. Very strange. Are there any presets for an auto zoom? Or could it have been some ultraviolet light hitting the remote sensor? :-/ I was shooting in direct sunlight.

Re: Auto Zoom.
where you holding it by the handle.. sometimes its easy to hit the top rocker. You can turn off your remote IR sensors in the menus to check if it was that.. could be some IR interference.
Reminds me when we where shooting the "Sleepover" feature we just switched to nights and it was about 4:00am after a 12 hour day and we where shooting the abby shot. We used 2 dvx's and for fun I pulled out the remote and when the other operator was getting ready to shoot I started messing with his zoom via remote.. man you shoulda seen the look on his face. He was to tired to figure it out, and since we where shooting a Horror, he got totally freaked out.
