I shoot under many different lighting conditions. The last scene I shot (steadicam) started down a hall went through a room lite by windows and finished in a room with both lighting types. The hall was fine (color wise) but the first room was real blue followed by the second room which was fairly good.
My other cameras (Sonys) in the auto white balance mode would have compensated for the different types of lighting very well as I was shooting. My 100a in the auto mode doesn't seem to do that.
Now I already know about "You shouldn't do that" and "you should have put gels on the windows" etc. but I have been able to do this type of scene with my other cameras.
I'm getting unhappy with this camera. Is it the 100a or is there a better "auto white balance mode" on it that I don't know about? I hope it is the latter.
I do like the picture quality of the 100a and don't want to have to buy a different camera because of this problem. I have noticed this problem at many different times.
Thanks,
Tery
