Auto Standby?

I just received my DVX 100a this week and have a simple question regarding the amount of time the camera will stay alive before the auto standby kicks in. a) Is there a way to adjust the amount of time it takes before the camera goes to standby? b) what is the best way to re-start the camera when it goes on standby? c) it went on standby when I was fiddling with the menu...odd?

I have been looking in the manual and can't sem to find anything about this. Any help will be appreciated.

Maybe I should have read the manual more thoroughly. I found on page 50 the TAPE PROTECT funtion which allows the camera to go in a real STANDBY mode rather than going to an OFF mode. No worries.

Maybe one of the moderators can ditch this post.

No, dont ditch it! I was wondering the same thing. Apparently I missed it in the manual, too. Good to have an answer on this, even if you answered yourself.
