GH1 "AUTO REVIEW" is Greyed Out - on ONE of my GH1 cameras !?

After buying a set of Lumix lenses for the AF100, I decided to get a GH1 to share them. I liked it so much I got another one. One of them allows me to select "auto review" so the pic is displayed in the LCD immediately after taking it. The other one doesn't allow this and on a separate note... it also has the pic size "L" greyed out. I placed the cameras side by side and went through the menus of both... conforming the offending cam to the "good" one... it did not restore the review capabilities.... I mean, I still can review if I press the green arrow button, but it's nice to have it show up as you're shooting just as a check.

Can anyone help with this? Could it be a firmware thing?

Thanks everyone for your time.

hmm, check and see if you can choose them in another menu, like Manual Picture mode instead of Manual Video mode. I seem to remember there was a setting in one of the external button menus but i can't remember which one.

Thanks so much for getting back... this is truly frustrating... I just went through both camera's menus again. They are both version 1.3 and I tried adjusting settings in both manual movie and manual pic (which is where I was). I tried switching lenses as they affect greying out of different areas, I tried "pixel refresh" and restarting, under "economy", both cams have the "LCD auto off" turned off. Everything seems to be the same on all windows, yet the one cam still has auto review greyed out. There is nothing in the manual about auto review and when I tried to Google for information, the only thing I got was actual reviews of the camera. I'm sure there must be some setting somewhere... does anyone know how to do a total reset?
Thanks again

My friend's camera didn't have autoreview on when he got it. Mine did. We figured out how to get it working but this was a while ago and I can't quite remember. I'll see if he remembers.

Thanks a lot... It's a mystery! I was wondering if there was a way to transfer settings from the "good" camera...

Auto Review is adjustable if you are shooting in single shot mode, in burst mode it defaults to auto review mode.

The size isn't adjustable if you are shooting RAW.

Yes, that's it... Brilliant!
Thank You!!
Surprising that it isn't documented anywhere... thanks to this forum... again...
Best Regards
