Auto fstp on Olympus 14-150

So I just put the Olympus 14-150 m4 3 lens on the camera after buying it to day. (Figured out the black screen thing playing with it in the camera house) but this problem is stumping me.

Every time I zoom in and out the F stop decides it wants to Auto adjust for me. Well... I don't want it to.

I'm searching the menu back and forth to try and find out how to stop this (yes auto iris is off).

There is no aperture control on the lens... which is what I'm narrowing the problem down to.

Not sure of the exact details of the lens but its f4 - f5.6 which basically means minimum fstop is f4 @ 14mm to f5.6 @ 150. So the lens adjusts itself depending on your focal length. So its behaving exactly as it should.

...and its also behaving exactly as a lens that you dont want (as a zoom) on a motion picture camera.

Use it as a variable prime and you will be fine with it.

I have the same issue with the Olympus 14-35 zoom. Each time I set the zoom to a new setting the focus shifts, sometimes by as much as a foot (according to the LCD read-out). So I constantly re-focus each time I zoom. I have started using a tape measure to get my exact focal length when doing interviews, and then setting my focus on the camera to match.
