Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it.
I've done some time lapse downtown...mainly cloud stuff though (around the capitol, and some of the churches down there)

I liked your composition...it was just the time of day that wasn't ideal.

thanks-
just wanted to get out and see how the time lapse thing worked.
basically what I did here was film for 30minutes and sped the footage up 5,000% in post-

how is compression on if this is off?
not trying to be a smart ass, I just honestly don't know-
it looks sort of jittery, right?

you should have kicked it to 8000% its too slow and when you do a time lapse you film in 24fps if you have progressive scan and .3fps if you dont, then you do a calculation, what makes the amount of frames you filmed in into 60 frames per second unless your doing 24 then you automatically go to 8000

i miss Austin....TCU has drawn me away. it's still my hometown though! i would like to see a time lapse of the frost bank building on a partly cloudy day. now that would be sweet.

Wow, I didn't think the Frost Bank building had been here long enough for anyone to feel nostalgic about it.
:)
I'm still trying to get used to it.

That took me back as well. I used to live at Dobie on the drag, on the 12th floor. That would have been a kickass place to do something like this, especially between classes when everyone is out.

Post if you try this again :)

Are you kidding? It's by far the coolest building in the city.

I'm not saying it's ugly...just that it's relatively 'new'
It changed the sky line ...and it kind of sticks out, so I'm still getting used to it.

But I agree, it's a cool looking building.

Agree with everybody else, interesting and good composition, but the shadow is killin ya, but you know that already so I will shut my yap! thanks for posting, show us the next one!!!
