GREEN SCREEN TEST/SHOT IN MY FRIENDS LIVING ROOM!
Hey guys. This is actually my first time posting some of my work! I'm nervous for that fact, but I'm pretty confident with my product.
I made this trailer for the Austin Film Festival competition. I don't know when I'll find out if I make it to the finalists, but I hope I do!
My good friend Fernando Ulloa and I have been great film partners since high school, he knew about this trailer competition for awhile now, but said he couldn't come up with any ideas. Well, that's when I stepped in and told him I've been wanting to try something like Sin City. A few weeks went by and we were still trying to figure out WHEN we could do it, since both of us work 50+ hours a week, and HOW we were going to do it. Somehow I had an epiphany, since we didn't have a studio to shoot in or any real controlled lighting, we would use Home Depot lights and 9 pieces of green posterboard taped together.
To cut this a little short, let's just say it was a great learning experience for proper lighting. Unfortunately, the quality isn't that great since I had to go through a long process of making a copy of a copy of a copy. Watch it on low resolution to see what it's really supposed to look like. Anyways, here's the clip. Please give me some feedback.

P.S. The keying on it isn't as bad as that other video that everyone was taking giant poops on, so hopefully you won't rip me apart for that. ENJOY!
