Christmas lights in Austin, Texas. Camera is the Panasonic GH2 and the lens is the Lumix 20mm F/1.7 Pancake (H-H020). 1080 24p, ISO 3200 and tungsten white balance. Shutter is usually at 30 or 60. No color correction done. Note: this camera can record for 60 minutes straight on the highest quality setting. The card ran out of space, so may have gone longer.

Happy Holidays!

I'm sorry, that could be interpreted as sarcastic. It's lovely footage and I'm just floored by the possibilities this camera affords low budget filmmakers.

Wow indeed. Thanks for sharing. My GH2 14-140 from Amazon is "Out for delivery" according to UPS. Yes!

You make a Canadian actually want to visit the USA, to Austin specifically. No insult intended.

I almost moved onto that block to a 275 square foot apartment in 1999. It wasn't the holidays, but I would have had no idea. There is no audio on the clip. I was talking to Austin band THE INVINCIBLE CZARS about using a track from their Nutcracker Suite, but my contact is out of town. http://www.invincibleczars.com/

Thanks for your comment. It "sounded" weird at first that I wasn't hearing audio and nobody is complaining. I'm not even 30 yet for crying out loud. I hopefully have a long way to go until my ears get that bad. At least afterwards I saw that other videos on my computer has audio.

I apologize for my comment in my post, it was rude and totally uncalled for. I've been in a bad mood today (work-related). Sorry. The video and lights look great!

Somebody call you out? I thought it was really funny. Isn't that what Canadians and Americans do all the time?

Sorry for the bad day at work. :(

Thanks for the sympathy. I just read it again and thought that's a bit rude sounding and not very stereotypically nice of me as a Canadian.
