Aunsoft Converter: No drop frame?

I just bought a license of Aunsoft Video Converter for converting my GH2 videos to ProRes for use with FCP. I can't figure out why they don't offer drop frame? While my final output is web, I always keep my timelines at 29.97 or 59.94.

So, I converted to 30 instead of 29.97 since it's not offered, and then used that .mov to clean the audio in Soundtrack to export a .aiff. When joined in FCP, the audio slides out of sync from the video over time. I then took the .mov exported from Aunsoft, conformed in Cinema Tools, cleaned that file in Soundtrack Pro, and matched that up with the new conformed video, and it syncs properly. Not a huge deal, but it would be nice to be able to skip the conforming step by having drop frame export support in Aunsoft.

Why would you buy a 3rd party software converter when FCP does a great job of converting GH2 AVCHD video to ProRes? Log & Transfer also has the added advantage that you get to quickly review the footage & set in & out points so you only convert what you actually need & not every last second that you filmed.

probably an older fcp version running on ppc - just guessing ´cause that´s why I´d do it .

Hmm, I actually wasn't aware that FCP could import GH2 AVCHD directly via Log and Transfer. Now that I have the SD card in, I can see the files show up in Log and Transfer. However, I'm accustomed to always copying the entire card contents to a backup location on my drive first before converting to ProRes for importing into FCP. But, when I navigate to that location with Log and Transfer, the .MTS files are greyed out. How can I import the files after copying over to my RAID?

i think you wana be navigating to the file structure... instead of the actual .mts.... i basically copy all the files in the folders to a newfolder.
then point fcp at that file structure (the root)
it works for me.
