I have been using the DVX100a for about 1 year. All of my projects have been interview based with some tunes in the background. Today I had a 3 hour interview and the customer wants no music. Having said this I have a eb and flow of white noise. Basically the white noise kicks up a notch when the person is speaking and cuts out just a bit whens he is not. I was and have been using a sampson wireless lav for all my projects. I tried to connect the Panasonic shotgun mic and I still hear that white noise. Its in the background and low but is very annouying.
My question is there any place on the camera that allows me some kind of audio control. :embarasse Or do I need to by a denoiser program. I have tested them and they work, but I would just hate to spend more cash (Again).
Any thoughts.
