Audio tweaking

Thats one thing that I always felt was an easy task elsewhere but in avid when you speed up or slow down video, the audio doesn't stay with it. Whats the deal with that as well?

What is, "sfitst"??

And is this an audio plug-in that comes standard with Avid Xpress Pro, or do I have to buy more software?

Thanks,

Go to Tools...AudioSuite.... and once the plug-ins load you click the dropdown box where you see "None" and select Pitch Shift.

But the thing is, how can I time that thing perfectly so it fits a clip that I slowed down? Avid needs to get their program together and make a slow mo time remapping thing like AE has that also effects audio. I mean honestly how hard can it be when most every other program I use has something just like that.

If most every other program that you have does it, why does Avid need to do it? Features and options are nice, but Avid is built to edit, not to create effects.

My two cents.
