Audio Tracks Mixing to Stereo?

Hello,

How do I prevent audio tracks mixing to stereo? We are running a shotgun on Input 1 and a lav on Input 2 and they are showing up as a stereo track in FCP log and transfer.

The camera settings are CH1SEL at INPUT1 and CH2SEL at INPUT2. I never had this problem on the HVX200A or HPX370.

Thanks,

yes, that is how they are supposed to be, but if you want them to not be panned left or panned right you can quickly and easily center the audio 2 way. double click the clip to load it into the viewer, click on the audio tab and set the pan to 0, or select the clip in the timeline and hit control+perioud

EDIT: and what Matt said too.

Thanks. I see when they are opened in FCP that the shot gun mic track and lav track are separate, but why does it say stereo pair in Log and Transfer when it never did using the HPX370 or HVX200A? Is it that you can't record through external mics and the an the AF100 mic simultaneously like on the HVX200A?
