Audio sync

Hi

Which syncprograms might work well in multitrack situations. I have Edius 6 (6.08). Just downloaded PluralEyes, but seem not to work in my system, Quadcore, win7 PC.

thanks

I'm guessing you are trying to sync multi track production audio with picture? Is there a mono or stereo reference track? The reason I ask is that it is easier to sync the mono or stereo ref track to picture, and sound editorial will deal with importing the multi-track dialogue in Pro Tools as long as all the metadata is still there. I used to do this in pro tools, but, if I remember correctly, you need timecode on the files (someone please correct me if I'm wrong. It's been a while since I've done this). Was any sort of smart slate or dumb slate used? I don't use plural eyes at all. I just sync with a slate, or if I am running "low buget" style, I'll just clap my hands in front of the camera and mic. I'm not saying plural eyes is bad, I just don't have it, and I haven't done enough video work to necessitate buying it.

We truly don't have the first clue what the OP is trying to do. We are shooting randomly in the dark. Unless he comes back and gives us the rest of the story, this thread is going absolutely nowhere.

The OP has referenced Pluraleyes. So he is clearly trying to sync multiple cameras or external audio to a camera track.
To the best of my knowledge, only FCPX has an option like Pluraleyes for multitrack syncing. However the OP is on Windows, so no go.
PLuraleyes seems to be the only option.
I would try it in Premiere or Vegas. Should work.
