I have a DVC80 and use an ME66. I was recording to both channels with a Y cable. Channel 1 cable had an Audio Technica attenuator set to 10Db. Channel 2 cable was connected straight in. Battery in K6 module was new. I was continuously monitoring levels.
When playing back there were some instances where audio either completely disappeared or became severely muted. I had not touched the audio controls during these shots. Fortunately I did not need the dropped sections, but I am concerned as to what could cause this. Anyone have any ideas?
