hi there, what's with the accessory shoe being inside out on the hpx500 how should I mount my sehessier gw100 reciver

Most pro accessories don't use hot shoe mounts, instead there's a standard 1/4-20 thread. Studs for lights, articulated arms, etc. Almost all ENG shooters
mount audio rcvrs at the rear end of the cam, as it doesn't get in the way of operation there. There's various plates & boxes available for that purpose. The GW100 is quite small as I remember - you may get away with simply using Velcro.

The GW100 receiver should have came with a hot shoe adapter. If you are running Anton Bauer or IDX, you can get accessory plates that you can attach it to (I happen to have a brand new AB accessory plate for that if you are interested for $25, never been opened, email me if interested).

Otherwise, attach it however you can. As long as it stays secured to the camera and it's not in the way, you should be good.

I just used Velcro and placed it behind the handle. It works great and stays out of the way.
