Audio Recording Quality at Longer Record Times?

Hello,

I usually have the HMC-150 on PH mode. But I recently came across a situation where the camera will be used more for audio capture than high quality video images.

So if I set the video quality lower, does the audio quality go down as well? Or is the audio bitrate small enough that it never goes down?

Yes, the PH mode has higher quality audio than the other modes. Off the top of my head I think it's 384kbps in PH mode and 256kbps in the other modes.
