audio quality DV tape Vs. P2

is the audio on a down converted DV tape the same quality as the audio straight from a P2 card?

MiniDV: 2 channels, 48kHz, 16-bit or 4 channels, 32kHz, 12-bit

i wasnt clear. im talking about down converted footage from P2 to DV tape. Is there a difference in Audio quality between the down converted DV tape and the original P2 footage.

Should be identical.

You can only bring channels 1 and 2 over, not 3 and 4. Otherwise they are identical.
