Hi!
I am new to this forum and not a DVX100 user but would like to have some help from DVX100 users.
I have bought a Panasonic DVC30 and have some trouble with the audio. When i record audio from the 3.5 mm mic input or via the XLR-adapter (AG-MYA30) the camera add a ~17dB boost at ~140Hz and boosts ~26dB (left channel) and ~18dB (right channel) at ~15.6KHz.
When i record through the built-in stereo microphone the sound is ok, no boost at ~140Hz or ~15.6KHz. The problem goes away if i use the built-in mic, but i don't want to use that mic...
I have recorded with different mic's, different XLR adapters and have experienced the exact problems even with another DVC30 camera. It seems to be a problem with the DVC30, but does this happen to DVX100 users?
So, my question is if anybody of your DVX100 cameras adds the same frequencies to your audio?
I have two sound samples, one second each, so you can download and listen and see in a frequency analysis what i am talking about. The .zip file is 203kB and can be downloaded here: http://members.chello.se/averdahl/DVC30_soundsamples.zip
I appreciate any input regarding this problem from you!
Kind regards, Roger
