Audio out of sync

(Sorry for the repost - I tried this to no avail in "Workflow")

All the audio in the footage I shot this weekend is out of sync by about 7 frames (earlier than the video). It was pefectly consistent throughout all the footage, so it was a very easy fix in FCP, but I've never encountered it before and am a bit surprised.

HVX200a, 720/30p, recording to 16 and 8GB cards. Audio was set to 29.97 nd. Both internal and external mics were out identically. Many many clips, all affected.

Any ideas as to why that happened?

The same thing happens to me all the time. It is an easy fix but I should'nt have to fix it. I hope some one answers this.

I'm thinking now that it's an FCP 6 thing. Hopefully someone else will chime in here.

I'm still using FCP 5.4 and have never experienced this, after over a year with the HVX.
Maybe it is tied to 6.0.
