I have both CH1 and CH2 set to INPUT 2. I have an external mic plugged into INPUT 2 and the mic switch set to MIC.
Upon playback in FCP Studio 2, why does it sound like channel 2 is coming from a distance, as if coming from the internal mic, which is at a distance from the subject?
Only channel 1 is clear and close to the subject's voice.
On channel 2, I can hear myself ask the questions very clearly, as I am near the camera's internal microphone. Seems like the camera's internal mic is picking me up clearly because I am next to it, and channel 1 is picking up the subject being interviewed clearly from the lav attached to him.
