audio noise

I have a problem with my DVX100B. I've posted about it before but, after a few tests, i have some new informations.
The problem is a noise at 8Khz/-60dB that come from the transport mechanism even with the audio levels at 0. But after a few tests i can tell that :
- the noise appears when the transport mechanism is in use. If the transport mechanism goes to sleep, the noise disappear.
- The noise is not recorded on the tape
- The noise is recorded via the firewire output if i capture directly to a Mac. (not capturing from tape, directly from camera)
- If i capture the tape to the mac, no noise.

So the problem is that you hear the noise during the shooting (annoying for the sound ingeneer) and that the noise goes through firewire if the transport mechanism is not in sleep.

Is that normal on the DVX100B or do i have a problem?
Thank you for your help.

Please, may just someone test it on his camera. I just want to know if you hear that 8khz noise when the audio levels is at 0 and the transport mechanism engaged.
