audio levels on monitor question

hi all,

just got a mark iii and have question about audio levels.

right now, i see two ways of viewing levels:
--hit quick menu, which brings levels for about 10 seconds then disappears
--toggle through 'info' button until it shows up...but with a whole mess of other stuff.

is there any way to simply show audio levels all the time, without all the other stuff that shows up?

When you start actually recording in the info screen mode that shows everything, the on screen info drops back to just audio, codec, fps, and rec counter, which is much better.

Other than that, the only other option is to run Magic Lantern. Magic Lantern has a seperate info screen you can toggle on, with its own smaller audio meters and much smaller info, outside of the 16:9 recording area of the screen.
