audio issue on ex1r recording

You will probably need to define "a slight echo" or post an example of it somewhere. Else we will just be shooting in the dark.
Do you mean an acoustic echo from sound bouncing off nearby walls, floor, ceiling? Do you mean a time delay between the mic and the board feed?
Of course you understand that you can't hear everything perfectly even through the best headphones.
This is probably an audio question and has nothing to do with the camcorder. The only echo I've heard on my EX1 was what I fed into it.

how can i attach a sample to the posts? dont have a link to go to
There are lots of websites where you can upload a file (an audio clip, in this case) and provide a link that others can hear. For that matter, you can post the whole video on Vimeo or YouTube, etc.
