audio is only coming from the left on dvx100b.HELP

ok so i noticed that everything i recently uploaded to premier only has audio from the left speaker of my computer and i dont know why. Here is a link to a picture of what my settings looks like.

ok so i have a microphone plugged into the xlr input 1. someone told me that if i have 1 microphone i should have INPUT 1 selected on the CH 1 Select and INT(R) for CH 2 Select. Is this correct? or was that guy an idiot?
 
It seems that if you had the mic in input 1 you would only have audio from that mic on the left channel. If you look at the audio panel on the dvx CH2 is the the only one that can mapped to both left channels.
 
You should plug into XLR input 2 and assign channels 1 and 2 to input 2. Then, you get the same signal on the left AND right channels. If he told you input 1, then he told you wrong.

In Premiere, you can use Source Channel Mapping to select the left channel and bring it into the Sequence as a mono track, and then it should work correctly for you.
