Audio Interference when access P2, etc

I recently started trying to get high quality audio with my HVX.. I notice that when I'm recording I am getting interference in my headphones.

There always seems to be a little hum.. even when nothing is connected, and inputs set to XLR..

When recording to the P2 there is some interference..

I don't believe any of this is making it to the recording, but it's pretty disappointing to have to just ignore..

Do all HVX's have this problem?

Thanks

Joe

I thought I was hearing timecode clicking in the headphones. After closer listening... it was! I sent the camera off for repair as the headphone jack is not working. The tech at Panny said he didn't hear the TC but I have it on file. He fixed the connector and thinks that the ground on the headphone jack could of been causing the leak in TC.

When recording to tape the audio was much cleaner.

For the older guys... It's not the sound of audio TC but a repeating clicking sound.

I also sent the camera in to look at the glitching issue and like a car problem it didn't rear it's ugly head during burn in. I'm sure that the first shoot will have glitches.

Bad audio is worse than bad lighting.

Great.. My camera is now 14 months old and out of warrnty.. Hopefully I can get panasonic to fix it, because it's clearly defective.. I've just never needed critical audio before, it's pretty bad...
