Audio Input

I heard the Mark ii's mic input was useless ...shame,

so I 'm wondering if anyone has similar issues with the GH1 - the three people that own them that is...

Anyone try plugging a shotgun or wireless mic in. Was the signal clear?

im not sure if it was from Philip or not, but i remember someone saying the quality was just OK...not great.
keep in mind you cant monitor the audio or control the gain.
