Anyone have experience with something like this...
Usually I put a shotgun in input 1, and a wireless in input 2 on my DVX. Lately the wireless, input 2, has been very shoddy, with very low -60db levels and a ton of his.
I'm thinking it's the wireless, but I put it in Input 1 and it's perfectly fine (lacks some high end frequency, but nothing that's not fixable in post).
So since it's fine, I'm thinking Input 2 is defunct, so I put my shotgun in just to make sure - works fine, albeit the response is different from the shotgun as opposed to input 1 - the mics levels are a bit lower, but nowhere near as low as the wireless -30db. That and the mics audio now lacks some bass, so everything is kind of tin-ish and the mic seems a bit less sensitive now, but nothing terribly or unusable.
Anyone know what's going on? Both inputs have exact same settings.
