Hi all, new 100B user - very happy thus far but i have a question... has anyone had any problems using audio from the xlrs while the camera was running on the power supply (not the battery)? When I try to use audio into either of the inputs while being plugged in I get a steady hum, I attribute it to interference but I'm not sure if thats a regular thing with the panny's or if its a glitch in mine... any advise would be helpful... thanx:nads:
 
where do you get the steady hum? in the monitos headphones exit? in the recorded footage? And just when you operate it with power supply?

The dvx100A headphone exit doens't perform very well. very noisy. not sure whether they improved it in the B version. Anyway if the hum noise shows up just in the headphones, but the recorded footage is good, not big deal i would say.

Thanks. I heard it in the headphones (i've used the same headphones everytime), so I opted out of using the audio from the input... Its happened on a few occasions... I've tried simulating the condition at home and have had no problems, so i'm at a loss.
