Hi,
I've been getting audio glitches after capturing and I think it's due to switching b/w Panasonic DVM60EJ (used in a Canon Optura 60) tapes and Panasonic AMQ tapes (used in an HVX). Does that make sense? Are they both dry lubricant?
I tried cleaning the head on my Canon, which I use to capture, with a Panasonic head cleaner but the audio glitches persisted and a few video glitches showed up. Is it worth it to get it professionally cleaned or should I forget about it and get a new camera? I can't afford a deck, so I'm thinking a really cheap camcorder, which I would use exclusively for capturing (and always using the AMQ tapes so this never happens again). Any recommendations?
