I recently tried recording out to my DVX100 through the Firewire connection from Premiere Pro 1.5 but every now and then the audio would drop out for half a second or so and then return. It doesn't drop out in Premiere, only on the camera.
I've tried reinstalling the Firewire driver and Premiere but it still happens. There isn't any problem with the picture and I can capture from the camera to the computer through Firewire without any problems.
Has anyone encountered this and what could the problem be?
