Why is my HVX200 in at 25p?

I downloaded what i thought was a default Scene file, and whenever i turn the camera off and then back on, it is by default in the scene file setting at "25frames"

The viewfinder hud shows 24p:25p . Whats up with that? I havent checked the scene file yet, but will if you answer soon enough.

Sounds like whatever scene file you downloaded had the "frame rate hack" employed to set it at 25fps. If you don't want 25fps just change it to "default" and save the scene file.

i thought the scene file couldnt do 25p? I didnt know there was a hack, i have no use for it, but i just havnt seen any hack for it. Do you have a TRUE default scene file you can paste? Id really appreciate it. :)

BTW you r00L!

btw, you can delete this post whenever you want. sorry to bother, just saw you online and got star struck! :)

On mine it says 24, but it's actually shooting at 25 (when you set the "frame rate" parameter to 14, which sets the frame rate to 25). So if you set the parameter to 13 it says 24, 14 = 25, 15 = 26. But on my display it shows "24, 24, 26"; it won't SAY 25 even though it is. Maybe on the newer ones it says 25?

I posted a scene file in the "want more frame rates" thread...
